The Dark Nights are LA County sponsored and are free and open to the public with no registration required. They are generally from sunset to midnight, but visitors are free to come and go as they please, and we bring large telescopes and stay as long as there is continued interest. We recommend that folks bring a red flashlight for safety and that they dress warmly. Sometimes the weather does not cooperate and we have to cancel. If it is partially clear with no rain or lightning we will be there.
